Weekends can quickly fill up with activities and can get just as busy as a work week….in order to get a little bit of time in for some R&R, preview your weekend ahead to see what needs to be done to maximize your free time!
- What do you already have planned? Check for any pre-scheduled events such as birthday parties, forgotten dinners out, kids activities..my husband and I have a Google calendar that we can add events too so in a glance we can see what was already scheduled and what we are going to do together.
- What do you need to do? Think about the work week ahead…have you planned your meals? Scheduled with hubby work times and activities? Scheduled kids activities? We like to use one day on the weekend to put these plans in place so we are ready for the week.
- What do you want to do? Are you into home improvement or just relaxing with alone or with friends and family? We enjoy going out for lunch with some shopping on the weekend. Sometimes we try to focus on fixing up a room or space to work on for a day or just take some time to watch movies and catnap on the couch!
It’s important to spend some time together to relax and enjoy what you have worked hard for throughout the week. No matter how busy you get, make time have the best weekend that works for you.
